BUMP BUMPER

The word "bump" is similar in meaning to the word "strike". The strip of Protective metal that we have at the front and the back of a car is called a bumper, and when we say that the cars moved slowly along the street to bumper we mean that they were so close together that heir bumpers were almost touching one another.

カタカナでバンパーって言われるとすぐイメージ沸きますが、英語で言われるとちょっと考えちゃいますよね（私だけですか？）
