Sydney Festival 2010 - Exhibitions and Shows, Festivals and Celebrations, Performances

For three weeks each January, Sydney Festival offers a rich program of around 80 events involving upwards of 500 artists from Australia and abroad covering dance, theatre, music, visual arts, cross media and forums. In any given year, it makes use of most of the main theatres across the city including Sydney Theatre, Carriage Works, City Recital Hall and venues at the Sydney Opera House.

Sydney Festival 2010 kicks off with soul legend, Al Green, headlining Festival First Night. This is just the opener for three thrilling weeks of music, dance, family entertainment, theatre and visual arts. Throw in the Festival’s three free massive outdoor concerts at The Domain and you have a summer of spectacular entertainment.

Don’t miss the exclusive free outdoor concert at Parramatta Park by AR Rahman, the Oscar-winning composer of Slumdog Millionaire, and a cast of Bollywood dancers and musicians.
